Bill Walsh "Wild Bill" ~ Harmonica and Vocals
Bill is a Colorado native. He has displayed a passion for music since he was very young.
He started taking drum lessons in the 3rd grade.
In Junior high he began racing motorcycles where he earned his nic-name, and at one time held the #2 ranking in speedway motorcycle racing. He also competed across the country in "Speedway On Ice" events.
In the late 1970's Bill became a sound engineer and worked for several local bands. Never losing his interest in music he began singing, and then playing harp in a few small local groups.
Near the end of 2004 he joined forces with "Global Warning" and in January of 2006 became one of the founding members of "Bumkin". Bill likes all types of music but blues and southern rock are his favorite. He loves the old "dirty low down blues", from as far back as the 1930's. Bill's biggest musical influence is Charlie Daniels followed by some of the harmonica legends like Big Walter Horton, and Carrie Bell; his influences cover a huge list from a wide variety of genres.
Chuck Williams ~ Guitar and Vocals
Chuck was born in a log cabin which he helped his father build. His mother left before he was born so he never really got to know her.
Playing for nearly 104 years now, Chuck started playing guitar at an early age of 57. He never had the money for a real guitar, so he built one out of planks from the "ol horse barn" which he strung with old rusty barbed wire. This helped develop his hand strength, big-ass calluses, and a fierce immunity to lockjaw.

Scott Collins ~ Drums
Scott was born May 16, 1963 in Greeley, Colorado and grew up
living in Denver. He was always studying music, and any instrument
found in a room was fair game. Piano, guitar, drums, clarinet, trombone,
tissue paper and comb, pots and pans, it really didn’t matter.
He also dabbled in sports a bit and was not a bad basketball player,
however ... he didn't quite have all the right moves so to speak.
Scott had some truly wonderful music educators that enlightened
and guided his childhood curiosities for the pursuit of music.
A true band geek he made All State Band and Orchestra 3 years
while attending Wheat Ridge High, and was band president as a senior.
During this same period Scott found himself really getting into the entire
realm of percussive arts, and studied under the direction of Terry Smith
and William Hill from the Denver Symphony Orchestra. Some of the instruments
he placed emphasis on were mallet percussion which included (marimba, vibraphone, xylophone),
timpani and orchestral percussion.
Scott began his collegiate life in music of course, at the University of Northern Colorado in 1981.
He was timpanist with the University Symphony Orchestra, and principal percussionist with the
UNC Wind Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. During his time as an undergraduate he was
a section percussionist with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra for 5 years.
Sounding a bit "nerdy" at this point, well ... doesn't his photo give that away?
Other credits include: Drummer for the "The New Foundation Hall Jazz Band" (Dixieland Jazz),
drummer, "Jazz Lab Band III" and percussionist, "Jazz Lab Band I".
He actually deviated from the legit and the finger-snapping scene for 2 years to play in the Denver based 80’s "hair band" Crysis.
Traveling the Western United States as a full-time, Monday-thru-Saturday Top-40 Cover Band.
Later returning to Greeley, Colorado to complete a degree in music education and graduating in 1988.
Scott also moved to Los Angeles, California in 1988 and got a "real job". He was Band and Orchestra Director in the L.A.
Unified School District for 9 years. He also was Associate Director of the L.A. All-City Marching Band for 3 years with
appearances in the New Year’s "Tournament of Roses Parade" in Pasadena, California.
While in Los Angeles, he also pursued a career in the "original music scene" as a performer/songwriter working with the great Phil Duncan, Matt Robertson, and Cash Perkins. He was signed to Capitol records in 1994 with the group "The Gadflyz". Scott also co-wrote and performed with Person L, Monkey Red Pencil, and Area 51. He once opened for Dread Zepplin, the Butthole Surfers, and Big Mountain. Auditioned for Cher in 1996 and got a 3rd call back, but ... this gig never materialized.
Returning to Colorado in 1997 Scott played in many groups in the Denver, and Northern Colorado area which included: Bob Loblaw, Wall Of Dogs, and most recently, Global Warning.
Some of Scott's musical influences are, but not limited to: Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, Zappa, McCartney/Lennon.
Favorite Food: Sushi
Favorite Drink: Beer and tomato juice (love that licopine)
Favorite Band: Dada
Scott Plays: Tama "Star Classic" Drums, and Sabian "Neil Peart" Signature Paragon Cymbals.
Dave Fry ~ Bass Guitar
Dave's musical career really started when he was kicked out of high school marching band for causing what the band leader called "riots." In an effort to satisfy his musical lust Dave learned to play electric bass guitar and soon formed his first band called "Defiance." After the fun and heartache of high school Dave was part of many bands in the Washington DC area during the late 80's, including but not limited to, Tangled Hangers and The Pearl Fishers.
In late 1988 Dave moved to New York City and soon became enamored of the fast-paced musical scene of The Big Shitty. He was the bassist for Custard Wally for fourteen years, the 2nd longest surviving member of that band. During the ups and downs and multiple spontaneously-combusting drummers of Custard Wally he also played in several other bands; most notably The Kenny Wilson Band, The Howling Wolfgang, Lefthand World, Maple Street, Pleasing Kate and Sway. For three years Dave assumed the stage name Zizi Mange and played bass for the French Art-Punk band Les Tetes de Merde.
After 17 brutal years in New York Clitty, the hustle and bustle of big city life began to wear on Dave so he moved to Colorado to calm his tired nerves. He has been in Colorado since 9:20am April 14th, 2005 and has been loving it ever since.
